Description:	Portrait of Jean Valjean Cooke, M.D., by Viktor De Jeney, 1963. Oil on canvas, framed, total dimensions 46 x 36 inches. A brass plaque on the base of the frame reads: “JEAN VALJEAN COOKE, M.D.” Cooke was a specialist in infectious diseases of children who late in his career also became known for research in leukemia.
