The Archives specializes in institutional records and materials relating primarily to the history of Washington University School of Medicine and its affiliated institutions. The section also retains unpublished correspondence and papers of renowned faculty, as well as press clippings and other printed materials (Vertical File Collection) related to the Medical Center and the St. Louis medical community.
In addition, the Archives section of Becker Library serves as the official repository for the records of the American Academy of Neurology.
