Target Audience:
The course is intended for principal investigators, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and other scientific staff who want to learn more about RNA resources from NCBI and other sources.

Description:
This class will offer an introduction to RNA structure and functions. The class will also identify software and database resources from NCBI and other sources which may be useful in the lab.
Goals:
To provide a short course on how to search databases and apply various software tools, providing efficient methodologies for searching the databases and arriving at specified results.
Objectives:
To present the various resources available in such a manner that they may be used efficiently to retrieve and analyze data.
Intended Results:
- Understand basic RNA structure and functions.
- Identify questions currently being asked by the scientific community.
- Locate RNA analysis resources (tools and databases) that can compliment experimental studies.
