Evidence-Based Medicine
Evidence-based medicine is the conscientious, explicit and judicious use of current best evidence in making decisions about the care of individual patients (Sackett, 1996). It integrates the best research evidence, clinical experience, and patient values to produce excellent care.
Becker Medical Library provides excellent resources to support evidence-based practice in the Washington University School of Medicine Community.
