CDC Declares Public Health Emergency for Human Swine Influenza
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has declared a public health emergency for human swine flu. The emergency declaration in the U.S. lets the government free more money for antiviral drugs and testing supplies. There have been 20 reported cases of swine flu in the U.S. as of Sunday, April 26; none of these cases has resulted in death.
