Library Hours and Access Restrictions
Becker Library is open to all users Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Patrons need a valid ID badge for access after 6 pm on weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday. ID badges from the Washington University School of Medicine, Washington University Danforth Campus, Barnes Jewish Hospital, Children’s Hospital and St. Louis College of Pharmacy can be used for evening and weekend access. Becker Library Members and members of the Saint Louis University community will be admitted when a valid Library membership or SLU identification card is presented.
PLEASE NOTE: Becker Library is not a 24-hour facility. There is no admittance allowed outside regular business and controlled access hours.
Entry after 6:00 p.m. and on weekends is limited to those bearing a valid WU, BJC, SLU or STLCOP ID badge. A valid WU, BJC, SLU or STLCOP ID badge is required for reentry Monday through Friday after 6:00 p.m. and on weekends.
Library members and WU faculty, staff and students with alternative ID should call 362-7085 for verification and admittance.
