Becker in the Community - "Living Life Expo!" at Baden Branch Public Library

Karen Gutzman and Bob Engeszer from the Becker Library present information on MedlinePlus at the Living Life Expo.

On October 12th, Becker Library staff joined other community organizations, local institutions, healthcare providers, and School of Medicine programs to take part in the sixth annual "Living Life Expo!" hosted by the Baden Branch of the St. Louis Public Library. The event provides the Baden community with easy access to routine screenings, answers to questions about medications and health conditions, tips on healthy eating, and referrals to social service organizations. As part of it's ongoing partnership with the St. Louis Public Library, Becker Library staff were onhand to provide information and guidance on credible health information resources available through the National Library of Medicine and the St. Louis Public Library.
