About Access Restrictions to Electronic Resources

Access and use of electronic resources made available by the Becker Medical Library are governed by license agreements between the School of Medicine and publishers or third parties. Several of the electronic resources carry some restriction on their use. Access may be restricted by user location, number of concurrent users, and/or password.

In short, most people experience access limitations based on the network to which their computer is connected. Below is a quick breakdown of what can be accessed from various networks.

Free WUSTL Software Trial: Spotfire

Researchers on campus have asked us to investigate whether there is enough interest to support a group or site license for TIBCO Spotfire. As part of that investigation, we have obtained a university-wide free trial of TIBCO Spotfire with Lead Discovery and OmicsOffice. Our WUSTL free trial will run until March 20, 2015.

Learn more about TIBCO Spotfire, Lead Discovery, and OmicsOffice.

If you are interested in trying out Spotfire with Lead Discovery and OmicsOffice, contact Marcy Vana at Becker Library at or 314-362-2796.
