About Access Restrictions to Electronic Resources

Access and use of electronic resources made available by the Becker Medical Library are governed by license agreements between the School of Medicine and publishers or third parties. Several of the electronic resources carry some restriction on their use. Access may be restricted by user location, number of concurrent users, and/or password.

In short, most people experience access limitations based on the network to which their computer is connected. Below is a quick breakdown of what can be accessed from various networks.

GraphPad Prism License Fee Reduced

Becker Library is pleased to announce the annual license fee for GraphPad Prism has been reduced to $40 per computer. The price reduction is made possible by the steady increase in licenses purchased by the Washington University community during the past year, allowing the library to pass the cost savings along to our researchers.

GraphPad Prism (version 7) combines scientific graphing, comprehensive curve fitting (nonlinear regression), understandable statistics, and data organization. The software is available for the PC or Mac (see Prism 7 system requirements) and the subscription year runs from September to September with licenses renewing automatically.

To license Prism through Becker Library please complete the new user registration form. If you have any questions about GraphPad Prism please contact Marcy Vana at (314) 362-2796 or vanam@wustl.edu.
