About Access Restrictions to Electronic Resources

Access and use of electronic resources made available by the Becker Medical Library are governed by license agreements between the School of Medicine and publishers or third parties. Several of the electronic resources carry some restriction on their use. Access may be restricted by user location, number of concurrent users, and/or password.

In short, most people experience access limitations based on the network to which their computer is connected. Below is a quick breakdown of what can be accessed from various networks.

Cover page for 1903 Hatchet yearbook.The Becker Library is pleased to announce the first 25 volumes of Washington University’s yearbook The Hatchet are now available online in the Digital Commons.  The 1903 through 1928 yearbooks feature all of the Schools at Washington University, photographs of students and faculty, fraternities and sororities, sports teams, and student life.

Notably, the faculty and students of the School of Medicine, Dental School, and School of Nursing were also featured in the early volumes of the Hatchet.  To browse the yearbooks, you may follow this link to the Digtal Commons@Becker.
