About Access Restrictions to Electronic Resources

Access and use of electronic resources made available by the Becker Medical Library are governed by license agreements between the School of Medicine and publishers or third parties. Several of the electronic resources carry some restriction on their use. Access may be restricted by user location, number of concurrent users, and/or password.

In short, most people experience access limitations based on the network to which their computer is connected. Below is a quick breakdown of what can be accessed from various networks.

Imaris 3D/4D Image Analysis Demo at WUSM

There will bImaris image analysis softwaree an Imaris 3D/4D image analysis demo at WUSM on Thursday, January 23rd @ 10AM in Holden Auditorium. This demo seminar will be given by an Imaris rep and will provide an overview of what Imaris does and how it works. An Imaris rep will also be available on Thursday afternoon and all day Friday in Becker Library (conference room 301) for individual meetings and demos. Bring your own image data! Register to schedule a time.

In response to requests from researchers on campus, Becker Library is investigating whether there is enough interest on campus to support an Imaris group license.
