About Access Restrictions to Electronic Resources

Access and use of electronic resources made available by the Becker Medical Library are governed by license agreements between the School of Medicine and publishers or third parties. Several of the electronic resources carry some restriction on their use. Access may be restricted by user location, number of concurrent users, and/or password.

In short, most people experience access limitations based on the network to which their computer is connected. Below is a quick breakdown of what can be accessed from various networks.

Information Resources about the Ebola Virus Outbreak in West Africa

The Ebola virus outbreak in West Africa has claimed the lives of at least 3,091 people (as of 9/29/14). This unprecedented transmission of the virus is of great interest to clinicians, epidemiologists, and those concerned with global public health.

You can search for Ebola Virus or more specifically Ebola virus AND “West Africa” in PubMed and other database resources and sort by publication date to see the latest information.
