About Access Restrictions to Electronic Resources

Access and use of electronic resources made available by the Becker Medical Library are governed by license agreements between the School of Medicine and publishers or third parties. Several of the electronic resources carry some restriction on their use. Access may be restricted by user location, number of concurrent users, and/or password.

In short, most people experience access limitations based on the network to which their computer is connected. Below is a quick breakdown of what can be accessed from various networks.

IPA training workshop - October 19, 2016

A scientist from QIAGEN will be on campus to lead an Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA) training workshop on Wednesday, October 19th.  

The workshop will run from 12:30-3:30 in Holden Auditorium and will be hands-on, so please bring your laptop.

Agenda:

12:30 - 1:00         Search and Explore:  explore IPA’s knowledge and discovery tools

1:00 - 2:30            Data Upload and Results Interpretation :  format and analyze data, interpret results

2:30 - 3:30            Advanced Topics: integrating multiple data types, causal networks, variant analysis, etc.

 

Registration is required

Free IPA trial accounts (good for 30 days) will be given to all workshop participants.
