About Access Restrictions to Electronic Resources

Access and use of electronic resources made available by the Becker Medical Library are governed by license agreements between the School of Medicine and publishers or third parties. Several of the electronic resources carry some restriction on their use. Access may be restricted by user location, number of concurrent users, and/or password.

In short, most people experience access limitations based on the network to which their computer is connected. Below is a quick breakdown of what can be accessed from various networks.

Maze Ndonwi Joins Becker Library Science Support Team

Maze Ndonwi PhD

On August 18th, Becker Library welcomed Maze Ndonwi, PhD to the staff of the Translational Research Support division's Science Support program. Maze received her PhD from the Department of Biology at Saint Louis University and did Postdoctoral training in the Departments of Molecular Microbiology and The Genome Institute at Washington University School of Medicine. At The Genome Institute, she was part of the Human Microbiome Project Laboratory where she received training in microbial genomics/computing and contributed to describe the development and the impact of pneumococcal vaccination on the infant nasopharyngeal microbiome

Maze is joining Marcy Vana PhD as part of the library's Science Support team which provides instruction, consultation services, and support for specialized software and genome databases for the biomedical research community.
