About Access Restrictions to Electronic Resources

Access and use of electronic resources made available by the Becker Medical Library are governed by license agreements between the School of Medicine and publishers or third parties. Several of the electronic resources carry some restriction on their use. Access may be restricted by user location, number of concurrent users, and/or password.

In short, most people experience access limitations based on the network to which their computer is connected. Below is a quick breakdown of what can be accessed from various networks.

New NIH Biosketch: Guidance and Classes

The New NIH Biosketch

A new NIH biosketch format is required for all NIH and AHRQ applications as of May 25, 2015. NIH and AHRQ will require use of the new biosketch format in applications for research grants submitted for due dates on or after May 25, 2015. Between now and that time, applicants will have the choice of using the old or new biosketch format.

The guide contains current information on the new NIH Biosketch including tools and instructions for creating a new biosketch.

Classes
Class attendees will learn how to use SciENcv to create a NIH biosketch.
