About Access Restrictions to Electronic Resources

Access and use of electronic resources made available by the Becker Medical Library are governed by license agreements between the School of Medicine and publishers or third parties. Several of the electronic resources carry some restriction on their use. Access may be restricted by user location, number of concurrent users, and/or password.

In short, most people experience access limitations based on the network to which their computer is connected. Below is a quick breakdown of what can be accessed from various networks.

New Subject Guides: Evidence Based Practice & Mobile Resources

Mobile Medicine

Mobile Medicine is a curated guide to resources for your mobile device that highlights vetted resources by how they may be used in medical education and practice. The guide separates out resources available for free and available for free through your WU affiliation from those you have to pay for.

Evidence at Becker

"It's not what you know, it's what you can find out." Marissa Mayer, VP, Google. Evidence at Becker is designed to support clinicians, researchers, and students to "find out" and translate evidence into patient care through resources for systematic reviews, point of care decisions, research, measurement tools, and tutorials.

For more information, to provide feedback and suggestions, please contact Susan Fowler at fowler@wustl.edu.
