About Access Restrictions to Electronic Resources

Access and use of electronic resources made available by the Becker Medical Library are governed by license agreements between the School of Medicine and publishers or third parties. Several of the electronic resources carry some restriction on their use. Access may be restricted by user location, number of concurrent users, and/or password.

In short, most people experience access limitations based on the network to which their computer is connected. Below is a quick breakdown of what can be accessed from various networks.

Notice: Executrain Classes no longer offered at Becker Library

Notice:  As of January 1, 2011 The Becker Medical Library  will no longer be offering the computer training class series through Executrain.  If you are interested in the computer classes, you may contact Executrain and schedule  a class at their facility.  Executrain offers a discounted rate for Washington University.

The University has an agreement with ExecuTrain under which University faculty, staff and students can register at reduced rates for computer classes taught at its training facilities. Contact ExecuTrain or check its website for a schedule of classes at the ExecuTrain facility
