About Access Restrictions to Electronic Resources

Access and use of electronic resources made available by the Becker Medical Library are governed by license agreements between the School of Medicine and publishers or third parties. Several of the electronic resources carry some restriction on their use. Access may be restricted by user location, number of concurrent users, and/or password.

In short, most people experience access limitations based on the network to which their computer is connected. Below is a quick breakdown of what can be accessed from various networks.

Popular eBooks + added features

The Becker Medical library provides eBooks from many different publishers on a number of websites with useful added features. 

ClinicalKey eBooks are some of the most used eBooks in the library's collection.  The website allows users to register for a free personal account in order to download PDF versions of eBook chapters, receive CME credits for searching, save content, and create presentations with saved images from eBooks and Journals found in the Multimedia area.  Over 1000 eBooks are available on ClinicalKey.  At Becker Medical Library the most popular ClinicalKey eBooks are:
