PyMOL software hands-on training workshop – March 15, 2016

A Trainer from Schrodinger will lead two sessions of hands-on training for PyMOL software, on March 15, 2016 at a cost of $25 per attendee per session. The morning session focuses on introductory topics and will run from 930am-untill noon. The afternoon session focuses on movie making in PyMOL and will run from 130pm until 4pm. All sessions of the PyMOL workshop will occur in the computer classroom in Farrell Learning and Teaching Center (FLTC Room 602), with the following agenda:

Morning session: This workshop is hands-on and will begin with an introduction to PyMOL and then focus on navigating through the interface, adjusting view and representation of molecules, saving images, measurements, creating sessions, sequence viewer, understanding selections, scenes & shows and simple command line usage.

Afternoon session: This workshop is hands-on and will begin with an overview on Moviemaking with PyMOL, then focus on independent object motions, visualizing MD trajectories and generating molecular morphs.  

All workshop sessions are open to the WU community and costs $25 per attendee per session. Registration is required. To register for the workshop, please complete a registration form below for the session(s) you would like to attend.To attend both sessions, complete the two registration forms.
