About Access Restrictions to Electronic Resources

Access and use of electronic resources made available by the Becker Medical Library are governed by license agreements between the School of Medicine and publishers or third parties. Several of the electronic resources carry some restriction on their use. Access may be restricted by user location, number of concurrent users, and/or password.

In short, most people experience access limitations based on the network to which their computer is connected. Below is a quick breakdown of what can be accessed from various networks.

Site License Purchased for JMP Genomics Software

The Division of Statistical Genomics has purchased a campus site license to the JMP Genomics software package and is making it freely available to the Washington University community. JMP Genomics is a SAS-based suite of tools to analyze Expression, Genetics, Copy Number, Exon and Proteomics data.

To register for JMP Genomics, please complete the registration form and instructions for downloading the software will be emailed to you. Please note that you must be affiliated with Washington University to participate in the site license.
