About Access Restrictions to Electronic Resources

Access and use of electronic resources made available by the Becker Medical Library are governed by license agreements between the School of Medicine and publishers or third parties. Several of the electronic resources carry some restriction on their use. Access may be restricted by user location, number of concurrent users, and/or password.

In short, most people experience access limitations based on the network to which their computer is connected. Below is a quick breakdown of what can be accessed from various networks.

Visit Becker Library at the Health Happening Fair on Jan. 30th

Stop by and visit Becker Medical Library staff at the Health Happening Fair on Friday, January 30th from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30p.m. Visit the Becker Library’s table to learn more about finding credible health information for you and your family. Library staff will also be available to provide demonstrations on the use of health apps for download on your tablet or smart phone.

In addition to the Becker Library, staff from the Family Resource Center at St. Louis Children’s Hospital will also be on hand to share free information resources available to children and families.
