About Access Restrictions to Electronic Resources

Access and use of electronic resources made available by the Becker Medical Library are governed by license agreements between the School of Medicine and publishers or third parties. Several of the electronic resources carry some restriction on their use. Access may be restricted by user location, number of concurrent users, and/or password.

In short, most people experience access limitations based on the network to which their computer is connected. Below is a quick breakdown of what can be accessed from various networks.

Partek Flow Software Group License is Now Available to the WUSM Community

Becker Library and the Center for High Performance Computing (CHPC) are pleased to announce that a group license agreement for Partek Flow has been finalized and the application is now available on the CHPC cluster to the WUSM research community.

KEGG site license and local mirror at WU

Becker Medical Library is happy to announce that a site license and  local mirror for the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) is available to all in the Washington University community for academic use, free of charge.

ChemOffice Software - Freely Available to all at WU

Olin Library pays for a site license for ChemOffice version 15.0 from PerkinElmer, and makes it available to all in the Washington University community at no additional cost.
