About Access Restrictions to Electronic Resources

Access and use of electronic resources made available by the Becker Medical Library are governed by license agreements between the School of Medicine and publishers or third parties. Several of the electronic resources carry some restriction on their use. Access may be restricted by user location, number of concurrent users, and/or password.

In short, most people experience access limitations based on the network to which their computer is connected. Below is a quick breakdown of what can be accessed from various networks.

PyMOL Site License Survey

Becker Library's Science Support team is surveying interest in a potential site license for PyMOL. PyMOL is a popular molecular visualization program used by structural biologists and chemists to examine molecular coordinates and render publication quality pictures of proteins, small molecules, etc.  

MetaCore training workshops at WUSM on October 2nd

There will be an Imaris 3D/4D image analysis demo at WUSM on Thursday, January 23rd @ 10AM in Holden Auditorium. This demo seminar will be given by an Imaris rep and will provide an overview of what Imaris does and how it works.

JMP and JMP Pro Now Available at Washington University

JMP Pro is now available on the Research Pod computers in Becker Library. In addition, both JMP and JMP Pro can be licensed through WUSTL Software Licensing.
