Join us for an Open October virtual keynote address from Jessica Polka, PhD, Executive Director, ASAPbio.

The use of preprints has accelerated dramatically in the life sciences in recent years, enabling researchers to rapidly and freely disseminate and update their papers. This growing prominence has thrust preprints into the public eye and raised questions about how best to indicate, manage, and improve their information quality. Jessica Polka, PhD, discusses the evolving landscape of preprint servers; their interactions with journals, funders, and scholarly infrastructure; and how innovations in preprint-focused peer review and curation might influence the future of publishing.

Join us on Zoom at the time of the event. No registration is required, but registering will send an email with details for your calendar.
