“A Benevolent Purpose” commemorates the 140th anniversary of St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Using materials from Becker Library’s archival collections, the exhibit highlights a few of the hospital’s most notable achievements from its founding as a homeopathic hospital in 1879, to the present-day institution dedicated to clinical care, pediatric research, education, and the health of children.
