Open October: ORCID and NSPM-33: What to know and how to be ready

Registration is closed for this event

Oct. 13 | 12-12:30 p.m. | Virtual

In January 2021, the White House released NSPM-33, a memorandum on the use of Digital Persistent Identifiers (DPIs) and federal research. DPI policies are still in the process of being created by Federal agencies, but currently, ORCID is the only persistent identifier (PID) that meets requirements stipulated in the NSPM-33 guidance. Becker Library will provide a general background on NSPM-33 and how to get up to date with your ORCID record.
