Join us for this half-day event, "Exploring Medical History: Spotlight on East Asia," sponsored by the Center for the History of Medicine at Bernard Becker Medical Library. Our speakers are Wayne Tan, PhD, Associate Professor of History at Hope College, and Susan Brownell, PhD, Professor of Anthropology at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. They will discuss aspects of the history of ophthalmology and eye surgery in East Asia.
