About Access Restrictions to Electronic Resources

Access and use of electronic resources made available by the Becker Medical Library are governed by license agreements between the School of Medicine and publishers or third parties. Several of the electronic resources carry some restriction on their use. Access may be restricted by user location, number of concurrent users, and/or password.

February 11th, 2014 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Farrell Learning and Teaching Center
Room 303
United States
This workshop will focus on the analysis of genomic copy number variation. Using a combination of copy number and SNP probes, estimates of total copy number will be created, segmented, and visualized. In addition to changes in copy number magnitude, differences in allelic balance will be identified. Analysis of loss of heterozygosity will also be covered.

  • Morning session (9:30-12): overview of copy number array analysis and a demo of the copy number array analysis workflow in Partek Genomics Suite
  • Afternoon session (1-4): hands-on session where you can get help working with your own data or practice with data from Partek
