Check out the pilot faculty profile information system, Profiles at Washington University School of Medicine, at a brown bag presentation on Wednesday, June 12th, at 12 p.m. in Connor Auditorium. Profiles is a publicly accessible and easily searchable knowledge base for exploring the expertise and research interests of the faculty, departments, institutes, and centers of Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. The system currently contains profiles of over 2,000 faculty at the School of Medicine.

Profiles uses the Pure portal platform developed by Elsevier and is funded jointly by the Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences (ICTS) and the School of Medicine Office of the Dean for this evaluation phase that runs through October 2019. Becker Library is working with Elsevier on Profiles implementation and support in addition to providing demonstrations, answering questions, and gathering feedback.

A member of the Becker Library Profiles support team will provide a demonstration of Profiles and be available to answer any questions. Refreshments will be served.
