Designing Search Strategies for Systematic Reviews is a course designed to prepare librarians to conduct complex systematic review literature searches. This two-day course emphasizes hands-on activities an enriched learning opportunities. By the end of the course participants will be able to:

  • Conduct a systematic review consultation
  • Design a systematic review search strategy for multiple databases
  • Organize search results
  • Report on methods regarding search design

The course is designed and taught by librarians from Becker Medical Library and the Brown School of Social Work (Wash U.). Collectively the course instructors have conducted 130+ systematic review literature searches and have received authorship credit for 27+ published reviews.

Registration Fees:

  • $400 (Early Registration by June 14th)
  • $450 (Regular Registration after June 14th)
