Becker Library is pleased to offer a virtual introductory R workshop is geared toward researchers that are new to programming and R. During this interactive hands-on session, attendees will learn how to install, load and manage R packages, and run basic R code for data visualization in R using the ggplot2 package. Basic R code will be run using RStudio.
Objectives: Install, load and manage R packages, introduce data visualization using the ggplot2 package.
This workshop has no prerequisites as it is intended to be introductory and geared toward those new to R. However, participants with no experience in using R will benefit most from this workshop by first attending our Introduction to R workshop on 9/9/2020 or 9/10/2020 or by reviewing the workshop materials and recording from our Introduction to R workshop of May 2020.
