View the new Glaser Gallery exhibit "How Did We Get Hear? Historic Hearing Devices, 1800-2000."

The hearing aids we are familiar with today are both tiny and mighty, but they weren’t always that way. Contemporary hearing aids are the product of hundreds of years of scientific and technological development.

Join the Archives and Rare Books department for the opening of the new Glaser Gallery exhibit which highlights the long history of hearing devices, from conversation tubes to transistors, featuring devices from The Central Institute for the Deaf - Max A. Goldstein Historic Devices for Hearing Collection. Additional artifacts and rare books will be on display in the reading room. This event is open to the public, during which, the library will be accessible to all.

Optional: Register below to add this event to your calendar and receive an email reminder before the event.
