Hear about some of the latest areas of "open" focus for the National Library of Medicine/National Institutes of Health including open access journals, mandates, data sharing, peer review and preprints. Funk will also address the role of funders and libraries in facilitating greater openness in scholarly communication.

A box lunch will be provided for attendees registered before Oct. 22. After that, registration will remain open for guaranteed seating, but with no lunch provided.
