REDCap is a secure, web-based application for building and managing online databases and surveys, but you do not need web development or computer programming experience to use REDCap. REDCap has built-in quality assurance and quality improvement features, and it is HRPO compliant. If you have a WUSTL Key, you can use REDCap for free!

Christopher J. Sorensen, PhD, is a Senior Support Scientist for Bernard Becker Medical Library in the Data Management and Sharing Group at Washington University School of Medicine. He provides data management and sharing services to the school of medicine research community including consultations and workshops in REDCap, MDClone and general data management and sharing topics. Chris has a PhD in Movement Science and a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation from Washington University School of Medicine and a Master of Science in Kinesiology and Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance from Iowa State University.
