Submit a Case Study for the Translational Science Benefits Model (TSBM) Website

Would you like to see your research study featured on the Translational Science Benefits Model (TSBM) website? The development of the TSBM was inspired by the desire to look beyond papers and grants to identify examples of real-world clinical and community health benefits that result from translational science research. There are eight case studies featuring clinical, community, economic, and policy benefits from translational science research using benefit indicators from the TSBM.

The TSBM team is seeking additional case studies to feature on the website to include realized and/or potential benefits to provide a contextual narrative of research impact from translational science research. Research studies can be early stage or in-process, and any investigator can submit a case study. Early-career investigators are highly encouraged to submit a case study and completed case studies can also help with biosketch, CV or reporting purposes.

To get started, investigators are encouraged to complete a Case Study Template (easy-to-use fillable PDF form) for inclusion on the TSBM website. Please send completed case studies to translationalsciencebenefits@wustl.edu.

The Translational Science Benefits Model (TSBM) is a framework for assessing the health and societal benefits of clinical and translational science, developed by a cross-disciplinary team including members of the Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences (ICTS), Bernard Becker Medical Library at Washington University School of Medicine, and the Center for Public Health Systems Science at the Brown School at Washington University.
