Zika Virus: Information for Healthcare Providers and Patients

The emergence of the Zika Virus is a growing public health concern. Most individuals who contract the mosquito-borne disease have mild or no symptoms.[1]  Recently, however, Zika Virus has been linked to increased incidence of fetal microcephaly and Guillain-Barré Syndrome.There are still many questions about the virus and it can be difficult to find reliable information.
