About Access Restrictions to Electronic Resources

Access and use of electronic resources made available by the Becker Medical Library are governed by license agreements between the School of Medicine and publishers or third parties. Several of the electronic resources carry some restriction on their use. Access may be restricted by user location, number of concurrent users, and/or password.

In short, most people experience access limitations based on the network to which their computer is connected. Below is a quick breakdown of what can be accessed from various networks.

MedOne Neurosurgery

MedOne Neurosurgery replaces the Thieme eNeurosurgery product.  MedOne Neurosurgery is a powerful platform, perfect for residents and experienced specialists alike. Combining expert information with stunning visuals, it works as both a learning and teaching tool.  MedOne makes it easy to complete research whether at home, at work, or on the go and contains over 180 eBooks. Access is WUSM only.

Registration of a personal account while on a WUSM computer, will allow you to access Thieme eNeurosurgery while offsite. Offsite logins will, however, count against our two user limit.  Please logout when you are finished.

MedOne Neurosurgery allows searching across and within Thieme’s entire neurosurgical collection.
