About Access Restrictions to Electronic Resources

Access and use of electronic resources made available by the Becker Medical Library are governed by license agreements between the School of Medicine and publishers or third parties. Several of the electronic resources carry some restriction on their use. Access may be restricted by user location, number of concurrent users, and/or password.

In short, most people experience access limitations based on the network to which their computer is connected. Below is a quick breakdown of what can be accessed from various networks.

Student Account Request Form

Students enrolled in the following programs can login to remote access with their WUSTL Key credentials and DO NOT need to request an account:

  • Audiology
  • Genetic Epidemiology
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Physical Therapy
  • Medicine
  • Medical School Allied Programs
  • Population Health Sciences

Students in other programs such as DBBS or students who do not have a WUSTL Key will need to request an account with the form below.

* Faculty or staff should request accounts through the Remote Access Request for Non-Students request form.

* A wustl.edu address is preferred.

Account Information

For students who DO NOT have a WUSTL Key, please specify the username and password you would like to use.

If left empty, the default username assignment will be what prefixes the @ symbol in your email address.
