Becker Medical Library Model for Assessment of Research Impact
The Becker Medical Library Model for Assessment of Research Impact represents a practical, do-it-yourself tool for tracking the impact of biomedical research. The Model includes guidance for quantifying and documenting research impact as well as resources for locating evidence of research impact. The four stages of the research process represented by the model include:
- Download Model – Reference Version (PDF)
- Download Model – Reporting Template (Word doc)
- The Reporting Template contains a column titled “Documented Evidence” to allow for reporting of research impact for specific indicators. See Sample Completed Reporting Model of OHTS Findings for an example of a completed report. If you create a report, please contact Cathy Sarli with feedback.
