WashU Data Viz Competition
The WashU Data Viz Competition is part of Love Data Week and is supported by the Becker Medical Library, the Brown School, the Digital Intelligence & Innovation (DI²) Accelerator, Institutional Effectiveness, the School of Continuing & Professional Studies (CAPS), the School of Public Health, and University Libraries. The third annual competition is now open and accepting submissions until Sunday, Jan 24th, 11:59 p.m. CT.
Students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate by transforming a dataset into an engaging visual story. The competition encourages innovative approaches to data visualization using tools such as Tableau, Flourish, Excel, or other platforms that help our community interpret and communicate data effectively.

Participants may use AI tools to support their work, but the ideas, interpretation, and design decisions must be their own. AI-generated analyses, text, code, or visualizations may not be copied directly into a submission without review and verification. Participants must disclose which AI tools they used and how, and are responsible for the accuracy of all analyses, data representations, and citations.
Submit your data visualization competition entry here by Sunday, January 24th by 11:59 pm. Late entries will not be accepted.
