SnapGene Registration

  • SnapGene is available to the Washington University community for an annual license price of $145 per computer. The SnapGene license year runs from November to November, with licenses renewing automatically. License costs cannot be prorated.

    Please fill out all fields below to license SnapGene. Enter your own information in the PI name and email fields if you plan to pay for this license yourself (credit card only). Email snapgene-licensing@email.wustl.edu if you have any questions.

    To improve license management, we recommend lab managers/permanent personnel apply for licenses for all shared computers. The license holder's email entered below must match the email used when the license is activated.

  • PI and Billing Details

    Enter the PI's name, email, and billing details. Enter your own information in the name and email fields if you will pay for the license yourself (credit card only). PIs are not considered the authorized installer unless also entered as the license holder in the section below.

  • SnapGene License Holder Details

    Enter the SnapGene license holder's information and the number of new licenses required. Each license may be applied to one computer. The email below must match the one used to activate the application. Failure to do so will lead to the deactivation of SnapGene without notice.

    Enter the name of the computer on which you will install SnapGene. This must match your official device name for record-keeping purposes. Device names that do not match our records will have the application deactivated.
