Join us to learn how St. Louis residents helped track and combat misinformation during the pandemic in iHeard STL: Development and first year findings from a local surveillance and rapid response system for addressing COVID-19 and other health misinformation.

In our next session, hosted in partnership with WashU ProSPER, we will continue exploring the latest advances in science communication research, current trends in scientific output, and the challenges researchers encounter when disseminating their work.

Join us for a thoughtful conversation around sustainable, community-driven approaches to public health messaging as we discuss iHeard STL: Development and first year findings from a local surveillance and rapid response system for addressing COVID-19 and other health misinformation. Hannah Kinzer (WashU School of Public Health and ProSPER) will lead the discussion.

Come together with people from different fields, professional avenues, and career stages—all with a shared interest in science communication, but each with their unique perspective. Reading is suggested but not required to attend. Refreshments will be served!

This event is open to all and hosted by the Center for Health and Science Communication at Becker Library in partnership with WashU ProSPER. Contact Monica Sala-Rabanal at msala@wustl.edu with any questions.
