Join us to learn how the Lasergene Molecular Biology Suite supports common everyday tasks like cloning, annotation, blasting, alignments, primer design, etc. This workshop will explore the core applications and walk through some common cloning and alignment workflows.

Reliable sequence analysis software is essential for molecular biologists.

The pioneering Lasergene Molecular Suite support common everyday tasks like cloning, annotation, blasting, alignments, primer design, etc.  The workshop will explore the core applications and walk through some common cloning and alignment workflows.

Workshop Agenda

  •    Plasmid Map Creation with auto-annotation
  •     Electronic Note Support (SciNote collaboration)
  •     Cloning workflows (Golden Gate, Gibson, PCR-Directed restriction digest
  •     Local Blast database creation
  •     Genome, nucleotide/protein, and Sanger alignments
  •     Phylogenetics (RAxML, BIONJ, and IQ-TREE)

This workshop will be taught by Scientist from DNASTAR. This session is designed for new users, or experienced users, or anyone interested in expanding their understanding of DNASTAR’s capabilities across molecular biology, genomics, and structural biology.
