Director Paul Schoening to present “Building an Onramp to Informatics” in partnership with I2

On Tuesday, March 20, Becker Library Associate Dean and Director Paul Schoening will present “Building an Onramp for Informatics” in the General Medical Sciences Classroom (Room 147B) at the Taylor Avenue Building. The talk is part of the Institute for Informatics (I2) Research-in-Progress Lecture Series.

Becker Medical Library has established a strategic initiative to introduce researchers to informatics concepts and tools that are rapidly becoming essential to all areas of research. This presentation will describe the library’s specific areas of focus, existing programs, and lay out the roadmap for the future being developed jointly with the Institute for Informatics.
