About Access Restrictions to Electronic Resources

Access and use of electronic resources made available by the Becker Medical Library are governed by license agreements between the School of Medicine and publishers or third parties. Several of the electronic resources carry some restriction on their use. Access may be restricted by user location, number of concurrent users, and/or password.

In short, most people experience access limitations based on the network to which their computer is connected. Below is a quick breakdown of what can be accessed from various networks.

Hands-on training for RNA-seq data analysis in Partek Flow - September 29, 2016

Becker Library will host a workshop for RNA-Seq data analysis in Partek Flow on September 29, 2016, in Farrell Learning and Teaching Center - Holden Auditorium. This workshop is free and open to all at WUSTL.

Morning session - 9am-12pm (FLTC-Holden Auditorium)

- Overview of Partek software solutions

- Hands-on training for RNA-Seq data analysis

Registration is required for the morning session, complete the workshop registration form to reserve a seat.

 

Afternoon session -1:30pm-3:30pm (Becker Library Room 102)

This portion consists of thirty minutes one-on-one sessions. To participate in the afternoon session, email Maze Ndonwi at ndonwimaze@wustl.edu to reserve a spot.

 

Both morning and afternoon sessions are hands-on so, please bring a laptop to use during the workshops.
