BMJ Case Reports is now available through Becker Library and the subscription allows for the waiver of author publication fees for case reports submitted for peer review.
BMJ Case Reports is now available through Becker Library. The online journal is an exciting and diverse collection of peer-reviewed case reports from all healthcare disciplines. Launched in 2008, it currently contains over 11,000 articles from more than 70 countries. These cover a wide range of cases concerning both common and rare conditions. Full-text articles can be browsed by medical specialty, type of case, presence of images and/or video content, currency and viewer popularity.
Becker Library holds an Institutional Fellowship subscription to BMJ Case Reports which allows authors from Washington University to submit case report manuscripts for peer review at no cost (including no color fees for accepted case reports). There is no limit on the number of case reports that can be submitted per subscription year. The Institutional Fellowship code for BMJ Case Reports must be provided during the manuscript submission process and is available by completing the request form.
