Text and Data Mining
A new library guide for Text and Data Mining (TDM) is available. Becker Library has agreements with vendors and publishers for subscribed library resources such as journals and databases. Some agreements allow for TDM projects by authorized researchers on campus. The guide contains information for researchers who are interested in TDM projects.

NISO Peer Review Terminology Standard
The National Information Standards Organization (NISO) recently announced the publication of the Peer Review Terminology Standard (ANSI/NISO Z39.106-2023). The new standard offers a simplified terminology that will make the peer review process more transparent to authors, reviewers, and readers across the journals that adopt it. A shared set of definitions will also enable the community to compare peer review processes across publications more easily.
