#SciComm Seminars

For a third academic year, the library partnered with the Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences (ICTS) to co-host #SciComm Seminars – a monthly series on the importance of effectively communicating science and research.

Although the series was abbreviated this year due to the pandemic, five sessions were held on science communication topics that included community outreach, graphic medicine, podcasting, communicating with parents, and popular media. The series continues to be a popular event with approximately 120 faculty, staff and students having attended one or more of these sessions during FY20.

Recorded #SciComm Seminars are archived in Digital Commons@Becker.
