Medical students, residents, fellows, faculty and staff are invited to an in-person event to view artwork and hear stories of growth, insight, bravery, wisdom, and vulnerability.

WashU medical students, residents, fellows, faculty and staff are invited to the second annual “In Our Words” event to enjoy visual artwork and hear stories of personal growth, insight, wisdom and vulnerability from their peers.

“In Our Words” is a community-building event that aims to foster connection and improve well-being in our Washington University School of Medicine community through storytelling. Personal stories of growth, insight, bravery, wisdom and vulnerability are submitted and recited live by medical students, residents and faculty.

Come join your colleagues and listen to some amazing stories told by: Sajal Tiwary, Christopher Noda, Lorien Carter, Monica Lim, Emily Podany, Naazia Azhar, Imran Nizamuddin, Shourik Dutta, Katherine Holzem and Lisa Gong.

Newly introduced this year, experience visual artwork selected to be included in the evening festivities created by Susrutha Puthanmadhom Narayanan, Nimansha Jain, Veronica Guerra and Abigail Bell.

The series is supported by the Office of Education and Bernard Becker Medical Library. Dinner will be provided with a cash bar.
