About Access Restrictions to Electronic Resources

Access and use of electronic resources made available by the Becker Medical Library are governed by license agreements between the School of Medicine and publishers or third parties. Several of the electronic resources carry some restriction on their use. Access may be restricted by user location, number of concurrent users, and/or password.

In short, most people experience access limitations based on the network to which their computer is connected. Below is a quick breakdown of what can be accessed from various networks.

  This event is currently full.
Event Details
September 29th, 2011 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Farrell Learning and Teaching Center (214)
Room 214 A&B
United States
This workshop will cover expression data analysis at mRNA and miRNA levels. Partek instructor will demonstrate how to import data, do QA/QC, detect genes showing differential expression and generate a list of genes of interest. Gene Set level analysis will also be covered which include enrichment of the function groups from the significant genes, and using gene set ANOVA to detect differentially expressed functional groups. Integration of miRNA with gene expression will be discussed as well.
